Nobel Algarve British International School, Almancil, is a fast-growing school with over 400 students from all over the world and with modern facilities. Inaugurated in 2020, and set within lush, green surroundings in the heart of the Algarve’s prestigious Golden Triangle, the school open to ages 3–18 and has been designed to maximise student attainment throughout.
Excellence in British education
We teach an enriching and engaging curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England. Our curriculum principles from our state-of-the-art Early Years centre to our Primary classrooms, moving through to our specialist Secondary school building, all designed to enhance their social, emotional and academic development. After completing their IGCSE examinations, our pupils choose a pathway suited to their style of learning. Students going into Year 12 can follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) or a BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to the A-Levels).

Official centre for Cambridge & British Council IELTS
Nobel Algarve British International School, Almancil, is now the only official centre in the Algarve and Alentejo accredited to offer both Cambridge Preparation Courses and British Council IELTS Courses and Examinations. The school is also a host centre for Cambridge Exams in partnership with the English Exam Centre Lisbon, a Platinum Authorised Exam Centre for Cambridge University English Assessment.
