Humanity evolved by self-educating. Allowing students to self-direct their learning comes natural to them. BGA students self-choose the array of courses on the platform and plan out their own schedule to meet SMART goals. The source of knowledge is via the BGA’s quality assured platform, that keeps being upgraded to enhance and meet the students learning needs. Life skills the students’ loved passions such as tennis, music, golf, surfing, etc. Their passion is independently included in their daily plan. Finally, a sense of community is the feeling that you get when you are surrounded by people who care about each other and have a sense of belonging. Community activities involve clubs in the hub or events outside the hub environment.
Now imagine you arrive at your BGA Hub. It can be facing the ocean breath taking views, sweet smelling trees and the sound of birds. Or nestled in the heart of a historical town, a smell of freshly baked bread and people chatting. Where ever it is, it is special! BGA hubs are at the center of learning. Allowing the students to interact freely, collaborate on their learning experience, play chess, relax and learn at their own pace, without pressure or constrictions. The hub is beautifully decorated, wellstructured to support vertical grouping of students as they progress on their learning, supported by coaches.
Teachers are absent in BGA. Instead learners are motivated and supported by skilled and inspiring Learning Coaches. BGA’s most important and carefully selected people are BGA trained, they motivate the BGA learner on his learning journey. BGA is an approved Cambridge International school that has grown exponentially throughout Portugal. Bringing hubs to nearly all regions of the country. This has been to the calling of the teenager and their need for change in their own educational system.
